Data on the effects of the extracts on pathogen in-vitro radial growth, conidia germination rate, soft rot disease severity, pH and Bx of the fruits, were subjected to analysis of variance (ANOVA) and means were separated by Tukey's HSD post-hoc test (P ¼ 0.05).
Since no significant experiment effects were recorded, data from repeated experiments were combined for the analysis.
The normality of distributions and homogeneity of variance between groups were verified with Kolmogorove-Smirnov and Bartlett's tests, respectively.
The percentage data were arcsine root square transformed before undergoing statistical analysis; non-transformed means are presented.
