This paper proposed a novel tri-port dc-to-dc power
converter that can be powered from two different dc sources.
The power sharing between two sources can be coordinated by
pulse-width-modulation on a single active power switch. The
theoretical analyses of the proposed converter have been
verified by the experiments. As compared with two power
conversion circuits, the proposed power converter is obviously
with less component count and simpler control circuit. The
average power conversion efficiency is always higher than
90%
