3). Do not work with a particularly slow speed. Do not think that the slower speed the better grind effect.
The high quality grind surface effect not determined by the speed but decided to use the machine correctly.
Grinding speed too slow, decreases the grinding wheel grinding capacity, grinding wheels will passivation. In this case, need use abrasive grind wheels surface, new dressed grinding wheels sharper than original, which preliminary work grind surface quality not stable, grind bevel width may bigger, so need to adjust. But continue to use the original slow speed way to grind glass, grinding wheesl will soon passivation again, grinding force increases, the bevel width going to be narrower, then need abrasive grinding wheels & adjust again, never steady production.
When need abrasive grind wheels surface, don't use green or black silicon carbide stone (CARBORUNDUM), Diamond wheel only can use soft materialwhite corundum stone (CORIONDONE). Resin wheel need use PUMICE (PUMICE STONE).
4). If the operating conditions are appropriate, grinding wheel will remain stable quality, no needs abrasive grind wheels surface, If the bevel width different, then need to select a different grinding speed. Too fast, fragile glass edges, surface polishing effect not perfect, corners contact not perfect.
5). Regularly check the grinding wheel wear and tear to avoid excessive losses due to individual wheels (need to be replaced but do not know) arising from broken glass and quality defects.
6). After replace the diamond wheel, need use slower working speed at first, and then gradually increase to the desired working speed.
7). When replacing the new resin wheels, can use any speed you want directly.
8). Note that during this 6 pcs wheel working, we should be very careful to avoide them touch the back conveyor plates. Or they will damage plates, and it will easily cause glass damag when grinding the glass bottom edge, and will increase bevel defects troubles. Such an irreparable fault will greatly reduce the fine features of the machine, and waste glass. Please see Picture 11 shows.
