Similar to TMOE, increasing FMOE of composites compared with PLA can be associated with the restrictions of macromolecular mobility and deformability imposed by the presence of CNF . The tendency for the melt viscosity to vary was similar to the MFI variation. The results of TMOE and FMOE were explained by similar logic as the rheological data. Thus,
the higher the amount of CNF, the lower is the MFI or the higher the viscosity of the filled polymer .
