In order to obtain in vitro organogenesis in Moringa, nodal explants (Stephenson and Fahey 2004) and stem explants from in vitro seedlings and fieldgrown plants were, respectively, used. Our results of shoot induction were similar to Stephenson and Fahey (2004) and Islam et al. (2005), but we got more number of shoots per explant compare to earlier studies in M. oleifera. In root induction study, we used combination of IBA and IAA, and it was found better than individual performance of these growth regulators. Earlier, no reports are available on the use of such combination of the plant growth regulators to induce the roots in M. oleifera.
