Crewing Manager
The Manager, Crewing ‐ supports the Director of OCC, VP of Flight Operations and VP of In-Flight Services in maintaining the high quality performance of its personnel at all times through routine briefing/trainings; regular validation of the work performed such as crew trips generation and adjustment, roster planning and crew data maintenance, crew legality compliance, and the adherence to established procedures and policies.
The Manager, Crewing ‐ ensures that necessary support needed by the Crew Planning and Crew Control team in resolving problems arising during the roster planning and implementation and reports generation/submission are managed and extended at the appropriate time including meeting with internal and external clients.
Applicants must have experience in the following:-
Experience in managing the development and maintenance of departmental processes, procedures and manuals relative to crew planning and the use of its IT tools.
Managing the analysis, review and validation of manpower requirements relative to the mid‐term to long term requirements; e.g. flight schedules, leave days, trainings days and other operational requirements.
Ensuring the consistent compliance to the relevant regulations and policies of all crew pairings and crew rosters as generated, maintained and revised by the crew planner/s.
Coordinating with other department representatives in handling and resolving the Crewing Section’s operational concerns affecting the quality of crew pairings and crew rosters relative to the regulation and policy compliance of the department in performing its responsibilities.
Leading the Crewing Section in the regular validation of crew qualification and documents, crew roster remarks, crew block hour distribution, and the regular on‐time release and submission of reports/documents.
Managing the training and standardization of Crewing Section in performing their respective duties based on current policies and procedures.
Ensuring Safety, Legal and Quality standards are met and sustained.
