More than 80 percent of road accidents caused by incautious. The
highest accident are from the motorcycle. From those who died in the
motorcycle accident, 86 percent were not wearing helmet. About 70
percent of the accidents were occurred in the village community and
the various secondary roads. Mainly cause by the lacking of respect
for traffic laws and drunk. The majority behavior of the bikers are
speeding. Moreover, the statistics shown that there are more than 700
children under 15 years were dead on the road accident per year.

Motorcycles and Road Accidents
In Thailand, there are about 1.5 million motorcycle bikers while only
43% were wearing helmet. Out of that number, 52% of the bikers and
only 20% of the riders were wearing helmet. From the demographic of
the data, the people who wear helmet; 49% were adults, 28% were
teenagers and only 7% were children.
The people in the city area has more concerned on wearing the
helmet more than people in the rural area.
