Yes, Arthur, you are correct. I totally agree with [Dr. Greger? I think that's the name I saw.] I also agree that regular exercise AND good, natural nutrition [with tonic and medicinal herbs added] are the VERY BEST WAYS to safeguard your health PREVENTIVELY. Prevention is much better than cure! Turmeric is wonderful and I'm not surprised at all by the Japanese study referenced by the doctor. After all, turmeric has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for THOUSANDS of years! A teaspoon a day is all that is required and it is CHEAP to buy here in Thailand. I recommend it 100%. My new girl, Rika, was over on Saturday night and I spoke to her specifically about Turmeric [called "kamen" in Thai.] She doesn't eat it. She knows about it. She uses it as a cosmetic on the skin. I told her that the skin cosmetics was good [after all, some will get into her body through the pores of her skin!] but that was only a small part of the story....she needs to EAT IT as well, a teaspoon a day!
