Development of CZE conditions for the separation of the investingated compound was demonstrated by varying the BGE concentration (0-60mM),sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS),and organic solvents (0-20%v/v MeOH),temperature(20-32°C), and voltage (15-21kV) .In these experiments, the BGE pH was controlled by adding 0.1 N NaOH.
effect of BGE concentrations and pH
The BGE Concentration, i.e., ionic strength has a marked effect on the electroosmotic flow (EOF) and the current generated in a Capillary. Increasing boric acid concentrations lead to longer migration time as a result of the decreased EOF since this effect is directly related to the decrease of the zeta potential at the capillary wall-solution interface.
