Prince Sun Ho, there is something between your brows and your hair... What happen.." The servant looked at Prince Sun Ho nervously.
"What are you talking about?" Sun Ho was puzzled after seeing that the attendance was still alive and seemed to be healthy with no effect. He was also startled by her scream earlier but his servant's word seemed even weirder.
"Er, well..." The servant opened her mouth but she hesitated to speak further. Instead, she went to bring the bronze mirror to Prince Sun Ho so that he could see for himself. Sun Ho took the mirror and looked at his reflection. He discovered that there was a fine red line between his brows which resembled blood drop and he tried to rub it away but to no avail. This red line could not be erased no matter how hard Sun Ho rubbed with his fingers. The red line seemed to be glowing in lustrous red like fresh blood drop.
Next, Sun Ho saw that his hair grew longer. That was not anything unsual except that his dark black hair turned into a shade of dark purple instead. Sun Ho took a portion of his hair and looked at it. Indeed, it was definitely not black. So his eyes were not playing trick on him.
How did this happen? Sun Ho was bewildered and he could not believe his eyes when he saw his refelction in the mirror. Could this image be a sign that he had changed into a demon? Could it be the aftermath of last night with Junjin and that his mere half humanity was gone? However, Sun Ho felt peace and he had never felt this calmness before, without any influence of being demonic as he used to feel so. But he was unable to comprehend what had happened him now and what had cause this.
"Monster." Sun Ho whispered blankly. No wonder the attendance fled in fear earlier. Sun Ho's appearance indeed was eerie which had freaked her out. Sun Ho gave a bitter smile to his servant and looked away, not knowing what to say.
"Prince Sun Ho." The servant did not know what to say to console prince Sun Ho either. Though she was appalled at Prince Sun Ho's sudden change in his outlook, but deep down in her heart, she knew he was still the same Prince she had served all these years. No way was Prince Sun Ho a monster as what the attendant said earlier. "That stupid attendant will be getting a long lecture and scoldings from me later on. I think I must teach all the attendants with proepr manners in serving Prince Sun Ho from now on." The servant made a mental note to call all the attendants, guards for a briefing later on.
"Do I look like a monster?" Sun Ho queried his servant in a loud sigh. He thought that he was used to it when others called him harsh names but it seemed that he had never accustomed to all the callings at all.
"Prince Sun Ho, you definitely do not resemble a monster. You are still the Prince Sun Ho and this I can vouch for." she understood Prince Sun Ho's feelings.
"I..." Sun Ho choked on his words as he felt touched with his servant's words. She was such a caring person and if not for her, Sun Ho might not have overcome the others' stares and words.
"Prince Sun Ho, forget the attendance's words. Let me help you to dress up and get ready." the servant smiled and her eyes became like moon crescent. She helped Sun Ho to dress in his imperial attire wich consisted of several layers of clothings before she donned a dark red outer robe on Sun Ho. She combed Sun Ho's long silky hair and tied it up into a pony tail and let the side to fall freely on his cheek. The servant tried to apply some powder to conceal the red line but it would not do and she gave up.
"There, you looked fine as alway, Prince Sun Ho, if not much better than before." the servant smiled widely. "Oh yes, I heard from the attendant that an official came to see you last night but she did not know his name." the servant looked apologetic.
"The attendant who came with you, said this?" Sun Ho looked at the servant and she nodded. Sun Ho was sure that Junjin sucked blood from the attendant last night but it seemed that she had no memory of this incident.
"That attendant failed in her duty. If it is me, I would not have allow any official to see you, Prince Sun Ho without getting his name." the servant was guilty that she slept so deeply that she did not even know that someone came to see Prince Sun Ho.
"It is just General Shinhwa who pay his respect to me as he was appointed by the Emperor to be my Imperial bodyguard." Sun Ho answered gently.
Sun Ho walked out of his chambers and turned to his servant, " the weather is good, I intend to have my morning meal outside in the garden." The weather was just an excuse for Sun Ho could not bear staying in his chamber any minute longer. Junjin's scent still lingered in his chamber and the memeory of his grief-stricken expression, hurt Sun Ho.
