Metribuzin at all the concentrations
was not found to have any inhibitory effect on
Trichoderma sp. Tillyakhodzhaeva18 has also
reported the same effect of metribuzin on
Trichoderma sp. Strong inhibition in the radial
growth of T. harzianum and T. viride was
reported by Jayaraj and Radhakrishnan7 and
Jaworska and Dluzniewska5. However, in our
studies pendimethalin was found to be inhibitory
to the bioagent only at lower concentration but
stimulatory at higher concentration. This may
be due to efficacy of this Trichoderma sp. (BMIR
isolate) to utilize pendimethalin as a food source
