A complete dynamic model (including a custom configuration
for the vehicle) is derived, without any neglection
of glider internal dynamics. This model is used both for
simulation purpose and for predicting the glider behaviour
in a MPC context. The whole nonlinear 6DoF model of
the rigid body is maintained, and is not confined to a
particular motion plane as previous works are. Hence,
hydrodynamic modeling is very important to give enough
reality to simulations. The hydrodynamic modeling by
Geisbert (2007) is here considered.
