scores, when added to the model, increased the
c-statistic by 0.030 (95% CI: 0.001 to 0.050) and
resulted in a c-statistic of 0.734 (95% CI: 0.698 to
0.770). The integrated discrimination index was 0.011
(95% CI: 0.001 to 0.020). Addition of the continuous
CAC scores to the model containing cardiovascular
risk factors led to a continuous net reclassification
index of 0.340 (95% CI: 0.114 to 0.567).
