16. A method of controlling ammonia emissions from an animal agriculture operation comprising:
applying an ammonia control chemical during both the early part and the late part of the grow out of the animals in an animal agriculture operation so that the chemical contacts ammonia from animal waste and reduces or prevents its emission into the air.
17. The method of claim 16 which further comprises detecting the level of ammonia in the air during the animal agriculture operation and applying the ammonia control chemical to keep the ammonia level below a predetermined level.
18. The method of claim 17 wherein the ammonia control chemical is applied to keep the ammonia level below 25 ppm.
19. The method of claim 16 wherein the animal agriculture operation is the production of chickens in a chicken house.
20. The method of claim 16 wherein the ammonia control chemical comprises sodium bisulfate.
