The LEGO Group and the LEGO Foundation share the aim of building employee and community goodwill and pride, and for the company to be recognised as a responsible corporate citizen in the countries where the LEGO Group is based.
Together we work to establish and maintain strong employee engagement to the benefit of the local communities through volunteer activities and product donations combined with financial support to local causes.
Children are always the target group for the activities with a special emphasis on promoting quality play experiences and creating opportunities for and access to play.
In 2014, the LEGO Foundation has provided grants to local engagement initiatives at 10 LEGO sites. We expect to increase the number of sites to 15 in 2015.
