is the methanol. The time was counted from the moment when the desired temperature was reached in the reactor, which was about 25 min after initiation of heating. The catalyst used was separated from the reac-tion medium by centrifugation after reaction completion. The excess of methanol was recovered by rotatory evaporation and the solid material was washed three times with 15 mL of ethanol:hexane 1:1 centrifuged and dried in a drying oven at 90 °C for 12 h. Other conditions included a reaction time of 2 h and agitation of 500 rpm, these values being obtained in previous optimization experiments.
