Although adapting notes into flashcards seems like an obvious review method, Cornell Notes may lend themselves to self-testing seamlessly. By covering the "notes" portion of the page in a Cornell Notes format, students can use the questions and keywords on left portion of the page as a cue to retrieve the information from memory. After, the student can write down their responses and compare their answers to their notes, they will have the much more likely to accurately retrieve the content when it is needed.
