Come on, I know some posters here think they are all self-righteous and standing up for the cause, but try to think, okay.
The water is not just disappearing, it is going back to a useable state in the ground, to evaporate, etc. etc.
More water is wasted in one fire hydrant opened (which they do periodically) than a whole city of teeth brushing faucet lovers.
If you have excess water, as CC pointed out, you don't have to feel guilty for using more of it. Do you breathe less air since you have less polluted air than another place?
I do not run the faucet when I brush, or excessively in any way, but damn, I'm not gonna get all high and mighty over somebody that wants to.
Many of you could probably exist without a car polluted the environment and encouraging gas exploitation and ruining the environment for oil, etc. etc. As well as many other everyday things.
Straining the gnat, and swallowing the camel, much?!
