3.2. Thermal analysisThe thermal stabilities of the developed membranes were evaluated using thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). Fig. 2 shows the TGA curves of OH form membrane A and D. The first slight weight loss (<1.5%) before 200 C was suspected of the loss of residual water or organic solvent (such as DMF) in the samples. The second weight loss (30%) between 200 and 350 C was considered to be caused by the degradation of the imidazole group [22].
