9. Leadership Behaviors: This item is about knowledge of each of 3M’s six Leadership Behaviors as well as the understanding of how a person displays her/his skills in each area through job duties.
-For those in management roles, this also involves the ability to discuss each LB with direct reports and to explore how each LB can be manifest in the behaviors of each direct report’s job duties.
-For individual contributors, this is about knowing how to demonstrate evidence of each skill in completing work.
10. Leveraging Emotional Intelligence: These skills come from individuals who are self-aware, confident and resilient in dealing with challenges.
-For those in management roles, this is evident when the insight coming from the emotionally savvy person plays out with actions respectful of and attentive to other’s feelings and emotions.

11. Mastering Change: This involves taking a proactive approach and starts by recognizing change is constant.
-For those in management roles, this reflects the agility seen through anticipating changes and devising contingencies to counter-act those unknowns.
-For individual contributors, one adopts mental models where you continuously anticipate things being in flux and you have available options, choices, and alternatives so you can always be poised to act in ways directly in response to the change.
