Located on Putthabucha Road,
near Naresuan bridge, the temple is a
20 minute walk or 30-baht samlor ride
from the clock tower in the center of town.
Wat Ratchaburana (or Ratburana) was built during the Sukhothai period and
renovated during the reign of King Lithai. The temple's ordination hall houses
murals based on the Ramayana story dating from
the reign of King Rama IV.
