Parents spend an average of two hours every week on school administration, including filling forms, washing and preparing sports kit and helping at school events, the survey found.
Making costumes for school plays is the most hated school administration task, loathed by 29 per cent of mothers, along with one in six who dislike washing sports kits.
Over half of parents also worry about their child making friends and 23 per cent said they fret about playground pressure on their child to own gadgets.
