Coarse-grained granite (Shap, Cumbria, UK). Very coarse-grained rock with phenocrysts of pink Kfeldspar, rounded and zoned, up to 35 mm long, in a groundmass of whitish tabular plagioclase feldspar (typically 7 mm), quartz grains (ca. 7 mm) and black mafic minerals (mica, typically 3 mm).
