Advanced Info Service (AIS) for fourth-generation (4G) mobile service, saying it is hard to sign a contract with the latter during the ongoing political impasse.
The decision came after the state telecom enterprise last month announced it would put off signing a contract with AIS for a while.
The state telecom company wants to rent out its existing unused 5 megahertz of bandwidth on the 2100-MHz spectrum to AIS to provide 4G service under a network rental agreement on a one-year basis.
Earlier, AIS chief executive Wichian Mektrakarn said the planned 4G partnership agreement with TOT remained subject to conditions for negotiations and the settlement time frame for the deal.
