This resort is a really good place to relax and to bike. There are lots of little bungalows all across the grounds. They each have their own little lawn, and parking spots. There are lots of trees, so the environment is very natural.
But when we got ready for bed, all this loud music came on, and it was impossible to sleep. It turned out that Supalai Pasak Resort and spa hosts a lot of retreats for large Thai companies. They party at night when other people not belonging to the company are trying to sleep. I found the open space good to relax and the little lounge room good to kick back and read, but a lot of the activities available in the resort weren't in order.
Like I saw on the map that there was an Archery area, and when I got there, It wasn't recognizable as a place to shoot arrows. It was overgrown with plants and there were no targets in sight.
The rooms are very comfortable and cozy, because there are clean floors and the beds are very cushy. If you have any children, you can also request them to add an extra bed for 500 baht.
Usually the grounds are deserted, because not many people come to this resort. There is a so called 'zipline' which is actually a seat suspended over a pond, with pulleys on either side of the pond to maneuver the seat across.
There is a soap business thing, and the resort sells their own homemade soap. It smells really good.
There is also a deer enclosure, but you can't go inside. What you can do is poke bits of grass through the bars. There is a large stack of grass right next to the deer enclosure so you don't need to go poking around on the ground. if you want to feed the deer, I suggest you bring gloves as the grass can sometimes give you cuts. (that suggestion is made because of personal experience.)
This resort is pretty nice and I recommend it to other travelers
