3. Remove retainer clip from burner heads:
The burner heads are secured for shipping with two cotter pins through the
right and left positioning pins. They should be removed so that the heads can
be removed for cleaning.
• Carefully remove each burner top grate to access burn heads. (See
Photo 6-1 on page 6)
• Use a screwdriver or pliers to pull out the small cotter pin that secures
burner to the right and left positioning pins. (See Photo 6-2 on page 6)
• Replace all top grates.
MAKE GAS CONNECTION
NOTE: If the Propane Gas Conversion Kit was ordered and the unit will operate on liquid
propane (LP) gas, the burner orifices & pressure regulator should be changed BEFORE
making the gas connection. See Gas Type Conversion Instructions on page 8 & 9.
Ensure gas supply and gas-type as shown on unit data plate agree.
Installation of this equipment must conform to the current editions of the National Fuel
Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54, the National Gas Installation Code, CSA-B149.1, or
the Propane Installation Code, CSA-B149.2 as applicable and in accordance with local
codes.
Installation should be performed by a qualified installer
