1. Objectives
To establish uniformity, promote professional image, and provide protection from potential environmental
hazards.
2. Audience
This covers the operation of all medical transport personnel in Bangkok Emergency Service.(BES)
3. Policy
1. Company uniform and identification badges shall be worn at all time while operating medical transportation
2. The staff members working at the airport shall wear Security Identification Display Areas picture identification badges on top of company badges.
3. Other company personnel shall dress professionally at all time during work.
4. Personal grooming and hygiene are critical to promote clean work place. An employee with direct patient contact shall keep nails short and shall not wear artificial nails or nail extenders of any type.
5. Jewelry should be limited to avoid potential for harboring secretions or fluid from patient contact
6. All personnel within close vicinity of an aircraft when it is running should be wearing hearing protection. This policy applies not only to flight crew members, but also any personnel on the loading/unloading team.
7. Safety shoes (steel or composite toe) should be worn during medical transport operation for both ground and air personnel, protective boot extend over the ankle is preferred for rotor wing operation.
