TIME KEEPING IS VERY IMPORTANT – WHEN CHECKING IN ALLOW AT LEAST 20 MINUTES TO GET TO THE CREW ROOM, CHECK IN WITH THE BMA REPRESENTATIVE, PUT YOUR BELONGINGS AWAY – INCLUDING YOUR MOBILE PHONES AND GET TO YOUR WORK STATION 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR START TIME.........
EVERYONE NEEDS TO CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT WITH THE BMA IN THE VOLUNTEER CREW ROOM, AT THE CENTARA LEVEL 22
AIRPORT / LOGISTICS CHECK IN PROCEDURE:
All must check in with BMA in the Centara, Level 22 and then make your way down to the waiting coaches – you will be taken to the airports and dropped off to the coaches you will be working on. You will take your bags with you on the coaches and airport (but again there will not be designated areas to leave bags) – BETTER TO LEAVE BAGS AND VALUABLES AT HOME AND USE A BUM BAG
At the end of every shift – please ensure that you check out with the BMA in the Crew Room and remember to ask what shift you will be working on the following day.
It may be that you are working another role – so please ALWAYS check.
Mobile phones will not be part of the uniform please leave them in your personal belongings and switched to silent, during your working hours. You will have plenty of opportunity to check/make calls on your breaks.
No smoking on duty, there will be an area and a time (break time) that you may smoke – in the areas that you are working.
No eating, no drinking or chewing on duty, never in front of delegates/clients or on the showroom floor.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS HOWEVER SMALL – PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK US – WE WOULD RATHER YOU ASK THE QUESTION THAN NOT KNOW..... IF YOU ARE ASKED A QUESTION BY A DELEGATE WE DO NOT WANT YOU TO ANSWER ‘I DO NOT KNOW’ – YOU WILL RESPOND ‘I WILL FIND OUT FOR YOU’.
Thankyouforvolunteeringandgivingusyourtimetoworkonourevent. Wewouldnotbeabletodo it without you all.
