I know this is a known problem but none of the fixes I've found so far work at all. In Windows 7, Hamachi (fully updated) creates an adapter in Network Connections.
When Hamachi is installed, Windows defaults to that (dead) connection every time I am not on a wired connection. It will not connect to any wireless network. (Yes, I already tried changing DeadGWDetectDefault in the registry and rebooting - it had absolutely ZERO effect on the problem.)
In addition, every time I attempt to disable the Hamachi adapter, it automatically connects again! The only way I can connect to ANY wireless network is to UNINSTALL Hamachi and reinstall it again every time I need it!
This is bizarre behavior bordering on malware - I'm not allowed to disable a network connection on my own PC? Really? - and I want to know if a fix has been developed.
