In this work, the influence of selected poly
(ethylene glycol) alkyl ethers (CnH2n+1O(C2H4O)mH,
CnEm) on the flotation performance of a model mixture
of carbonaceous copper shale and quartz as a gangue
material was investigated. The experiments were
performed to establish a better understanding of the role
of CnEm ethers in froth flotation.
