studies dealing with employment rates of students after high school are frankly disheartening.only 4 percent of students with emotional and behavioral disorders who have exited high school are employed two years later. compared with 59 percent of typical adolescents who have left or completed high school. Three to five years later, the contrasts are even stronger: of students without disabilities, percent are employed, compared with cartoto percent of students with emotional and behavioral disorders. Significant challenges persist in preparing young people with emotional and behavioral disorders for meaningful employment and involvement in our communities.
