Regarding the factors predictive of pain interference
changes, higher pain intensity at the initial assessment was
a significant predictor of increases in pain interference
across the third trimester (b = 059, P < 0001). Initial
depression scores also predicted increases in pain interference
(b = 010, P < 0001), as did initial pain catastrophizing
scores (b = 006, P < 0001). Finally, time (from T1 to
T3) predicted increases in pain interference (b = 011,
P < 005).
