The results of the organized and deep pattern of thinking done by this student show up in the graphic organizer. He has actively engaged in skillful comparing and contrasting prompted by his teacher and the structure of the graphic organizer. Now he must transfer this thinking, as recorded in the graphic organizer, into an organized piece of effective writing. He utilizes what we call a "Thought-Full Writing Map." This is the writing map that he uses for compare-and-contrast writing (Table 5-1)
