Humans aren't the only living things that make difficult journeys. The Arctic Tern is an extraordinary bird. It flies over 35.000 kilometers every year all around the world, from the North Pole to the South Pole, and back again! That's more than any other animal. Arctic Terns fly through all types of weather, using the sun and stars to help them. They spend almost all of their lives in the air When they need food, they catch fish from the ocean. Some Arctic Terns live for 30 years more so they travel over one million kilometers in their lifetime. Believe it or not, the bird only around 38 centimeters long and weighs around 300 grams
