the critical factors affecting both sperm motility and the
recovery of motile sperm after thawing. Moreover, the effect
of DMAco and DMAeq time on the proportion of motile
sperm was also related to the sperm concentration used
during semen processing (SWC effect). The concomitant
presence of high sperm dilution and low DMAco was the
optimal combination to prevent a progressive decline in
sperm motility already occurring during processing before
freezing
