Hazard Identification
In the workplace context a hazard could be defined as anything that could potentially cause injury or death to someone.
It is essential to have in place procedures for identifying actual or foreseeable hazards that have the potential to harm the health and safety of workers or visitors to the workplace. Employers should encourage employees to notify management of any hazards as soon as they become aware of them. A hazard inspection allows you to identify WHS problems before they become serious and someone is injured or an emergency occurs. t
