The OSA reagent, waxy maize starch (Amioca TF) and a commercial
OS starch were obtained from National Starch LLC (Bridgewater,
NJ). Maltodextrin (MALTRIN 100) with DPn 10 was
obtained from Grain Processing Corporation (Muscatine, IA). HPLC
grade acetonitrile and water containing 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid
(TFA) were purchased from Fisher Scientific Co., LLC (Fair Lawn,
NJ). Other chemicals were analytical grade.
