Following the prior empirical studies (Bansal and Tylor and James, 2005; Jones et al, 2007) suggest that calculative commitment mediates the relationship between switching costs and the antecedents of two variables, which are lost benefit cost and alternative attractiveness. Hence, these two variables could have an influence on calculative commitment, which leads to the following hypotheses.
