SCOPE:
Under the guidance and supervision of the F&B Manager and within the limit of established company policies and procedures, assist in overseeing and directing all aspects of Food and Beverage promotion and guest relations. Continue to look for ways to improve the communication with guests both in-house and outside to build relationship and gain more business. Maintain guest database and the resort loyalty program to maximize the profit and ensure success of the F&B operations as well as guest satisfaction.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. General Operation
1.1 Walk around the resort and have conservation with guests get the feedback related to F&B and others if any. Share with the team and related people or departments for further follow up and improvement.
1.2 Meet the guests at breakfast, lunch, and dinner to connect and get feedback and promote F&B venues, activities and special offers.
1.3 Talk with guest and get the e-mail/contacts and their interest in order to build F&B database and maintain. (in case we have F&B promotion that match with their interest)
1.4 Up-selling F&B venues and special promotion to in-house and outside guests
1.5 Support F&B Operation as assign by F&B manager or Director Culinary & Service
2. Up-sell and promote Romantic Dinner, Beach BBQ, Social Hour, Cooking Class and other special activities
2.1 Up-sell and promote specials events
2.2 Take reservations, coordination, organize and communicate to concern departments
2.2 Gain feedbacks from guests and associates to improve our activities or initiate new activities that will bring more business
2.3 Write email to villa guests, honeymooners, birthday celebrants and other potential high spending guest to up-sell the special meal arrangement i.e. romantic dinner, barbeque on the beach and cooking class etc.
3. Update F&B competitor promotions at least once a quarter
3.1 Check our competitors about F&B promotions for our information
3.2 Visit our competitors do the competitor analysis
3.3 Monitor our competitor about F&B selling channel (such as newspaper, public poster, advertisement etc.)
4. Planning F&B yearly promotion
4.1 Work with F&B Manager in planning F&B promotions and special events
4.2 Planning promotion by special day such as festive events and wine dinner etc.
4.3 Act as main contact person for all F&B special events such as festive events and wine dinner. Taking care of bookings, selling tickets, arrange seating and etc.
4.4 Solicit details and information to Marketing Communications Manager to create related artwork and any other collaterals at least 45 days prior to event date.
5. Club Latitude and F&B Database
5.1 Grow membership and keep it updated and utilize the entire member database
5.2 Recognize Club Latitude members when they dine at the resort and ensure our associates are also aware of their membership
5.3 Communicate F&B promotions and special events to all members (showing members about the benefits and having activities all year)
5.4 Join Sale Blitz with corporate sales in order to develop the database and sell the F&B promotion
