Guided tours are tours where a journey you take or the place you go have a person who is called the tour operators to accompany you while you are sightseeing, assisting you in giving information about the subject. The effectiveness of the guided tour guides can be measured through several methods. However, the importance part is also the performance of the tour guide, who must be able to hold a unique performance to variety type of audiences and allow tourists to be involved within their the tour. Furthermore, the guided tour and the prime role of the tour guide is that to act as an information giver this can then demonstrate that the guided tour is highly focused on the information given as well. Hence the effectiveness of guided tours can be measured through, firstly, the level of customers’ satisfaction with the tour and the tour guide and the information which they receive. Secondly, the level of the revenue return from each tour packages compared with the previous quarter or year or the expected outcome and also be used to measure and see the effectiveness of the tours and whether or not are the customers still appreciate the guided tours over all (Meged, 2010).
