Coated copper, labradorite, aquamarine, citrine and carnelian.
I have been making things, I swear. Hopefully they'll get on here eventually.
I took time out of my frantic sewing to make several trees for a show I thought was happening this weekend. It wasn't, so since I further messed up my wrists making them, figured I might as well post them.
My usual tree of life variations with one little twist- the silvery colored frame glows in the dark. It's coated copper wire with silver plate then glowy coating on top. So it looks like a matte silver until it goes into the dark, and then has that classic pale green. *just to clarify, it's only the frame that glows*
It seemed perfect with early nights and halloween coming :D
The place I got this wire from only carries 20ga glow in the dark-does anyone know if someone makes 28ga? Because that would be awesome.
If anyone's interested these are available for $25+shipping, note me if one caught your eye :)
They have some precious metal cousins available here [link]
Sheesh, I keep forgetting to put sizes- they vary a bit, but generally are just shy of 1 3/4" long by 1 1/4" wide.
Oh, and my recent blog entry on the causes of fall leaf colors ;) [link]
And if you'd like to try trees yourself: [link] note me if you do use it, and I'd love suggestions on tutorial writing!
