Emirates added 24 new aircraft to our
fleet, while retiring 10 older aircraft. We
strengthened our global network with the
launch of new passenger services to Abuja,
Brussels, Budapest, Chicago, and Oslo;
and increased services to 34 cities across
Europe, Asia, Africa and the USA. We
continued to invest in technology for the
business and for our customers, including
the installation of free Wi-Fi across our
fleet and a revamped online booking
experience that offers more choice and
flexibility for customers. Emirates SkyCargo
marked a major milestone when we
relocated our freighter services to
Al Maktoum International (DWC), where
new modern facilities increased our
handling capability and position our cargo
business well for future expansion.
