In the theory of rings, the properties of
derivations are important. Several authors (Meng
and Xin, 1992; Meng, 1987; Iseki and Tanaka,
1976; Iseki and Tanaka, 1978; Dudek, 1992;
Dudek and Zhang, 1998) have studied BCIalgebras,
BCK-algebras and BCC-algebras. In
2004, Jun and Xin applied the notion of derivations
in ring and near-ring theory to BCI-algebras, and
they also introduced a new concept called a regular
derivation in BCI-algebras. They investigated
some of its properties, defined a d-derivation ideal
and gave conditions for an ideal to be d-derivation.
Two years later, Hamza and Al-Shehri (2006)
studied derivation in BCK-algebras. In 2007,
Hamza and Al-Shehri defined a left derivation in
BCI-algebras and investigated a regular left
derivation. In this paper, the notion of a regular
derivation in BCI-algebras is applied to BCCalgebras
and some related properties are also
