After mating, gravid females started egg laying after 3–4 days (3.37±0.48) (mean±SD) of pre-oviposition period. Oviposition period was noticed after 13–18 (15.56±1.61) days. Eggs were deposited on a tender leaf along the veins and tender shoots. Eggs hatched after 5–7 days (6.06±0.74) days of incubation. The nymph passed through five nymphal instars which were completed in 10–13 (11.5±1.11) days, while the adult female fed on a plant and survived for 18–23 (21.18±1.91) days. The total life cycle of a female insect was completed in 36–44 (39.87±2.64) days (Table 1).
