Dialog box items
Percent of the tolerance for calculating Cg: Enter a constant to specify the percent of the tolerance for calculating Cg and CgK. The default value is 20; but you can enter any positive value larger than 0, but less than 100. However, using values between 10 and 20 is common.
Study variation: Enter a constant to multiply by the standard deviation to estimate the variation in the measurements. The default multiplier is 6, which is the number of standard deviations needed to capture 99.73% of your measurements.
Resolution: Enter a known gage resolution value. If you specify both the resolution and the tolerance, Minitab checks to see whether the resolution is less than, equal to, or greater than 5% of the tolerance. As a guideline, the resolution should not be greater than 5% of the tolerance.
No bias test: Check to suppress the testing for bias.
Title: Enter a new title to replace the default title on the graphical output.
