[Adding the whole SWS team and SDLBoulder leads for this email]:
Thanks for logging these new ones, Kik and Aum – looks like you’re getting used to using JIRA --let me know if you have any questions about it, hopefully I can help you get more comfortable with JIRA.
Kik, there is one more important aspect about regression labels that I don’t know if you have understood yet:
Only add the Regression label when the defect is tested and confirmed to be a regression defect (it DOESN’T occur in the previous build).
- I noticed that of the new defects (OPPK-2092, 2094, and 2095), they all have the label Regression, but all of them have “regression: No” included in the description of the defect.
- This is an incorrect configuration. If the bug is not regression, the label should NOT be there (can you please revise the defects accordingly?).
Let me know if this makes sense. I’ll be sending out some training work for the SWS team so that we can all get on the same page for regression testing and defects.
We still aren’t sure if everyone in Thailand understands the idea of regression yet, so let us know if you have any questions or suggestions that would help us communicate about it – we need to get everyone testing up to speed on regression! (Aum - make sure you review all of this with the new trainees – it is very important). Thanks,
John

Subject: [SWS] Bugs Logged in JIRA
Hi John,
Regarding 3 bugs that logged in JIRA by Kik, could you please read all information and try to reproduce these. Before Kik logged a new bug, she tried to find any bugs to prevent duplication bugs.
OPPK-2092
OPPK-2094
OPPK-2095
We work hard to provide a duplicate bugs and we ensure all bugs logged are not duplicate.
If you have any questions about information or screenshot, please let us know
Thanks,
Aum
