Axial series of upper abdomen were performed from upper hepatic edge down to lower pole kidneys, pre and postcontrast enhancement.
The study reveals mildly hypodense change of liver parenchyma with no definite space taking lesion. Biliary ducts are not dilated. Gallbladder is well distended and contains no stone. Pancreas and spleen are in normal size and shape. Both kidneys show normal excretory function and no hydronephrosis. Bilateral effusions, more on right side are found. Left basal lung appears some areas of plate collapse. Minimal patchy infiltration in laterobasal segment of right basal lung is seen. Mild cardiomegaly is seen. Abdominal aorta becomes atherosclerotic change. Thoracolumbar spondylosis is seen.
IMP: Mildly hypodense change of liver parenchyma could be from fatty infiltration or hepatitis.
Bilateral pleural effusions, more on right side and cardiomegaly, CHF is considered.
