In order to determine how the first class teachers benefit from songs during reading instruction, phenomenology, one of the patterns of qualitative research, will be used.
Phenomenology pattern focuses on facts that individuals are aware but do not have deep and detail knowledge. In Sound Based Sentence Method, songs are used during preparation period before reading instruction and during reading instruction at the stage of making sound felt. In this study teachers are asked for their opinions about benefiting from songs only at the stage of making the sounds felt.
