To date, many techniques have been developed to deposit TiO2 coating on glass surfaces. A self-cleaning double-layered
SiO2–TiO2 coating with polydiallyldimethylammonium (PDDA) cations prepared by a layer-by-layer technique has been reported [5], and it exhibits a dual function of self-cleaning and antireflection. Another reported self-cleaning anti-reflective TiO2 films was coated on polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) substrates using dip coating method [8]. Furthermore, a nanofibrous SiO2 and nanostructured SiO2–TiO2 film were coated on glass substrates by flame spray pyrolysis of organo-metallic solutions, and these coatings showed excellent anti-fogging performance [9,10].
