IV. EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS
To test the motor under the flux saturation condition, 150%
load is impressed to the tested induction motor described in
Table I. Fig. 7 shows the results of the conventional speed estimator
without inductance tuning algorithm. In Fig. 7(c), the
estimated rotor flux is proportional to the estimation error of
the stator currents without concerning the saturation. However,
the estimated rotor flux of the proposed method is reduced due
to the saturation as shown in Fig. 8(c). Furthermore, the speed
estimation error is reduced to 50 rpm during the transient state.
The dynamic behavior of the motor is also improved because
the residual speed error in the steady state also reduced rapidly.
